Not a better opportunity could have come for me to do something like this. I love Dr. Halsey's character. Honestly she was so good throughout Halo's storyline that I would love nothing more than to have seen a side story to her. I mean Spartan Ops is a side story, but I want to know how she ended up from point A to point B. I want to see and experience how she went from producing the savior of the human race to war criminal.
Well, I think Halsey gets what she deserves. I see both points. She created the Spartans, the best fighters the UNSC has to offer, but her methods were abducting children from their homes and training them to be the Spartans. I can see why she's a criminal, and a...I dunno what to call her. But it wouldn't be a good game or side story because there wouldn't be any shooting or killing involved! I think it would be a fair book, just not game involved.
I think to some extent that would actually be a good thing. I mean would it hurt too much to try something new? Like save the shooting and action for the main games but attempt something that focuses solely on story, mystery, and cunning. Plus they could still do a book and game.
Eh true, but I do speak for most Halo and FPS gamers out there. Most FPS gamers don't want a non-shooting and killing anything. There would probably be a mass outcry against it if they try to put it in any of the Halo's, don't you think?
She seems rather obsessed with finding Forerunner technology and advancing humanity with no concern for the potential consequences.
Really Halsey's becoming more or less as fanatical as the San Shyum (Covenant prophets).
But it wouldn't be a good game or side story because there wouldn't be any shooting or killing involved! I think it would be a fair book, just not game involved.
